Graveyard Survey Update – Oct 2026

As part of the Circuit's ongoing actions to ensure that our graveyards are safe places we have undertaken further surveys at Peckett Well, Ambler Thorn and Cross Lanes graveyards. The survey aims to identify monuments that are a safety risk to visitors of the graveyards, as well as identify monuments that are unstable.

A summary of the findings for Peckett Well and Ambler Thorn graveyards can be found attached. 

The survey at Cross Lanes did not identify any monuments at risk.

At all graveyards there are a number of monuments that are already laid flat.

Families are invited to review the survey and get in touch with the circuit.
