PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE NEW LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS THERE WILL BE NO SUNDAY WORSHIP IN OUR CHURCH BUILDINGS THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER
Calderdale Circuit covers the area of the Calderdale Metropolitan Borough which includes a variety of communities from towns to villages. The Circuit came into existence in its current form after the merging of smaller circuits in 2010.
There are 20 churches in the Circuit, two of which are Local Ecumenical Partnerships (LEPs), one with the URC and a second with the Church of England. Another of the churches, Mount Zion Methodist Church, is a heritage church with Heptonstall Methodist Church being the oldest church in Methodism which has been in continual worship. In Halifax town centre is New Ebenezer Methodist Church where several faith-based groups work alongside secular groups to support those in our communities that are in need. Alongside the churches, mission and outreach is supported by the BusOasis which was setup by the Circuit in 2012.
If you decide to attend one of the churches you will receive a warm welcome. A friendly, caring and supportive welcome from a church that is passionate about fulfilling the mission of the Circuit, Seeing what God is doing in Calderdale, and joining in, and the calling that God has placed upon them for the community they are based in.
