Boothtown and Southowram Methodist Church opened their doors on Saturday, 10 September for Yorkshire Churches Day which was held in conjunction with the Heritage Open Days.
A steady stream of people came to look inside our building and view the archives from the church, Girls' Brigade and Boys' Brigade, together with activities for children. In fact we overran by 1 hour! We were kept sustained with tea, coffee and homemade cake!
A book of condolence in memory of Queen Elizabeth II was also available.
