Lower Valley Advent Course 2026 – 'Life in the Comma'

Attached a poster advertising the first of four weekly sessions during the season of Advent, which Rev Nick Biggar will be hosting in the Link Block at BCMC.

Each session will be offered twice on the day, with an afternoon and an evening opportunity to attend.

This year's York Advent Course, Life in the Comma, written by John Bell, explores the final days of Jesus' life and invites us to reflect more deeply on their meaning for our faith today.

The sessions will take place as follows:

• Thursday 3rd December at 2.00 pm and again at 7.30 pm

• Thursday 10th December at 2.00 pm and again at 7.30 pm

• Thursday 17th December at 2.00 pm and again at 7.30 pm

• Wednesday 23rd December at 2.00 pm and again at 7.30 pm

Everyone is warmly welcome
