Walking the Way

Reflective Walk -Shibden via Magna Via. See poster and below for details of this next walk on Sunday 12th October

This is a slightly more challenging walk than normal as it involves a steep initial
uphill climb and it is longer at almost 4 miles, however it is a lovely walk
full of history including walking down the Magna Via, passing the site of the
historic ‘Sunny Bunces’ and Allen Brickworks.

Meet
outside ‘Café Culture in the Park’, near Mereside carpark, Shibden Park,
Halifax. HX3 6XL.

Current
carpark charges £1 per hour. The café should still be open at the end of the
walk as it is due to be open until 4:30pm (depending on the weather), so I
would recommend 3 hours parking.

Walking
Boots and Walking Poles are strongly advised.
