Walking The Way – Next walk – Sunday 11th October 2026, 2pm

Our next walk is coming up this Sunday!

We’ll be meeting at 2pm at Baitings Reservoir car park, Rochdale Road, HX6 4LP, where free parking is available.

A few details about the walk:

• Distance: 2.9 miles

• Difficulty: Moderate, including moderate inclines and descents

• There are approximately 30 steps down, with no handrail

• The route includes 5 stiles, one of which is a high stone stile

• Please note that there are no facilities along the route

• Walking boots and poles are recommended, especially if it has been wet, as parts of the route can become uneven, slippery and boggy

• There are sheep in some fields, so dogs will need to be kept on leads
